Ok how much sugar should we consume daily? im not sure if any is necessary but I would like to know.

Also how much sugar, or glucose or what not is needed to be consumed to cause an insulin spike?

1. As little as possible, assuming by sugar you mean simple sugar, and unless purposely timed (like post workout).

2. Eat any amount of any kind of carb and you get an insulin spike, for a significant spike....it depends on the carb.

75g is considered optimal from something like Glucose, post workout. Stay off sugars any other time. As the gay fellow about stated.

What about the amount of sugar in milk and cereals?

They usually have about 10 - 15 grams of sugar per serving.

sugar in cereals is bad. Sugar in milk is low GI.

Yeah but the sugar in milk is still bad cuz it's lactose...acts similar to fructose.

Basically all "sugar" is bad.
