I'm trying to reduce my body fat from 20% to 10%. In previous posts I've made concerning my diet, members have told me to eliminate fat-free milk from my diet completely. Typically I used 8 oz everytime I had a Nitrean shake which was 3 times a day. Each 8oz serving of the fat-free milk I used has 80 calories, 12g carbs, 12g sugar, and 8g protein.
Now I only use water for my shakes (which makes a big difference in taste!).
I just started eating 1/2 cup oats in the morning and I use both water and fat-free milk to cook them ( I probably use about 6oz of the milk). I wanted to know if using milk with my oatmeal is going to slow down my fat loss progress.
Also, for all you forum members who have had success cutting and reducing bodyfat, did you guys completely eliminate milk from your diet? Did it help? For some reason I was always under the impression that drinking milk was good for bodybuilders (even those trying to cut). Any advice is appreciated, thanks!
