-2nd day of use

-was squatting today

-1/4 from ripping in half

-got from elitefts

-they are purple bands

-I thought these were quality???

-anyone else have this problem?

Did you call in and ask if you could get it replaced? I've never had anything like that happen with my bands.

be careful, saw a guy almost lose an eye when one broke...spent the evening in the emergency room

Did you have them set up in a way that they would be against a sharp corner? We've had our bands for over two years and one of our reds and one of our purples are just now starting to tear a little bit.

They must have caught on something as generally they last for quite sometime. How did you have them set up?

like a think 2x4 piece of wood on bottem and them on the collars at the bar.

ive put mine through hell and they arent even showing a sign of wear yet

I meant think like quater inch thick then the surface is 4x8 to fit underneath the rack.

My guess is that you either pinched it on something or dropped a plate on the band.

i been using their mini and green bands for a year and no problems here. i choke them underneath the power rack and over the bar ends. however, i can tell they are losing tension overtime.

let us know how the turnout goes with elitefts. hopefully they'll send out a replacement.
