View Full Version : Chicken Spaghetti Sauce! great for bulking

Spaghetti itself is amazing for adding carbs, but the sauce on it can make it even better, so why not have protein while you build up carbs

Here's my recipe for chicken spaghetti sauce

Large yellow onion (chopped)
3 Garlic Cloves (only if you want)
1-2 Pounds of broiled chicken meat chopped (so it looks like little strings)
1 28oz can of diced plum tomato's
1 6oz can of tomato paste
1 teaspoon of dried oregano
1 teaspoon of dried basil
3-4 bay leaves
1 cups of dried red wine (you'll add more while cooking)
1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
Cayenne pepper (depending on how spicy you want it)
Salt (extra flavoring)

Directions:
Put all of the ingredients in a large saucepan starting with the diced tomatoes and the tomato paste followed by the chicken, then the onion, then the wine, then the spices, mixing after each. Put it on the oven and have it cook for about an hour stirring every 5-10 minutes. Add red wine if you want along the way. Should be done after an hour, you taste and be the judge.
