i hurt my back deadlifting. I tryed to max out twice in 7 days..
A day - day 1/2 after lifting I noticed I got a pain. The pain is constant whether I'm standing or lying down. It's probably worse standing. Ice helps. Today is the 3rd day and i've only noticed a minor inprovement.
Does this sound like a pull, broken blood vessel, or something else? There has been no swelling.

is there bruising? Hopefully this is the last time you deadlift with max effort weight twice in 7 days

then just rest it. If the pain isn't crippling and you have no numbness you probably didn't mess up any disks or anything. Just rest, ice and ibuprofen for a couple weeks and see where you go from there

I've found easy, high-rep, LIGHT (meaning, no weight) reverse hyperextensions to be very helpful for healing back pain like that.

Just sounds like a very sore muscle. Try a heating pad or hot bath for a couple of days. Take some Ibuprofen or Aleve (don't take Aleve for more than a few days, and don't go over the recommended dose).

If you're not feeling any better in a few days I would call a doc.
