Guys. any links on were i can find the amount of calories in food? and will this change if im from australia? Maybe americans proccess there food different and there is more or less calories....

for a 200 pound man what should be the amount of calories consumed to gain muscle... 3000?

any tips on good high calrie foods.

alot of people on here reccomend pasta, but i was told pasta is a no go and will gain fat because too many sugers...also i was told instead of eating carbohydrates to try and find my energy from good fats? hence peanut butter & tuna.

One 200 lb person might gain on 3000 cals, while another might need 5000 cals or 7000. You have to figure out your maintenance calories and add from there to gain the desired amount of weight.


Peanut butter, olive oil, Milk, Steak= good, calorie dense foods

blimey,
today for breakfast, morning tea, lunch and pre workout im having

2 egg protein with flaxeed oil
banana
2 chicken wraps
milo

100g beans
100g broccoli
100g rice
100g tuna

100g cottage cheese w celery
60g peanut butter w celery

now that is only like 1500 calories......im expected to eat 4 times that much....can u explained more foods that will get it up...

Look in the "Recipes" threads. Plenty of high calorie recipes in there... Bako shake and no bake protien bars will get you BEYOND where you need to be... and pretty damn good too!
