Do u think this would be a decent post-workout meal? The cornflakes is 25G of carbs per serving, so have 2 servings some milk and a scoop of whey? what do u think?

sounds good...
but what is the Glycemic index for cornflakes?
I dont think it would be hight enough, you probably want something that will get into your blood stream quicker.

The qicker youcan get the nutrients into your system the better. It will take your body longer to absorb the corn flakes than the power of choice. I would stick with a protein shake with carbs.

In the grand scheme of things, it doesn't matter much. It may not be the most optimal, but as long as you get in protein with carbs it should be fine if you have some aversion to protein shake w/ dextrose.

Woah.. Know this is a bit off topic but how did this post go from 3-23-02 to Today? Anyways, my friend does the same thing with different cereals. Never tried it, guess it wouldn't hurt?
