i want to start lifting weights and start on a proper diet ive been saying this to myself for the past two weeks. But the thing is i have never been on a diet and dont know where to start im 5 foot 9 inch and about 14stone and i need help settin out a diet and how to stick to it... if i do this myself it wont work i dont understand all this about carbs and what not..

so basically i would somebody to tell me how to diet and train properly thank u for any replys

i'm guessin 14stone means 140. what are your goals?? get stronger? get bigger? and don't say both. either way you're going to increase on the other one, but what do you want to focus on?

No, one stone is 14 pounds, its a european weight measure... so he weighs 196lbs.

Technically, it's an English Imperial measurement, the Europeans use the metric system. :)

basically i want to become more lean say 196LBS with 10%bodyfat and a high defination in my abs area and chest area..
