Just a heads up for anyone interested. This hasn't been posted online yet and I wanted to get the info out to everyone, especially my guys.

I wanted to let all the local KC area guys know I spoke with Brandon Cass today and he advised a meet is being planned for Nov 8th at the Gym in Blue Springs. Used to be world gym then summitt fitness and they just changed the name again. He said it will be a APF Mo and Ks regional meet. he is 99% sure of that date as well. I will keep you posted just wanted to let you all know. Ken Ufford

it will be fantastic, just planned my preliminary 10 week plan for this.

Planning on doing bench only unless my knee feels really great by then, will play it by ear and keep hitting the ME lower stuff hard

I could use a couple days off work. JK. On a serius note though i think it would be awsome if we all did this meet.

Yep - I think Mark and Jim are thinking about it as well.

This will be 1-0-7's First Meet - start thinking of a quote to go on the back of the shirts I'm having made.

I was planning my first meet for Oct 25 but this might be even better...save some driving and also help support you guys.

Worst case Ill come out just to help in anyway I can.

Ill have to check out more about the APF.

Gives you a little more time to train for it too if you hadn't already started a training cycle for it yet.

Sumo isnt too bad, that coupled with the fact that Im an AWFUL conventional puller means, sumo ftw

you should do this one Shawn - it will be a good meet to get your feet wet.

Also, APF has a raw division at most meets now.

Im in the middle of a DL cycle now but it could easily be adjusted to allow for the extra 2 weeks...the more time the better given some of the issues Ive had to deal with this summer.

The fact that its local is HUGE. Save me the drive to IA and the hotel.

Cool, I checked into that last night too...if they have a RAW division at this meet then its sounding even better.

Thanks for putting this out there Ben.

I had heard it may be the next weekend (15th) and that Brandon was hoping to be done with the plans this week.

There's also a raw unsanctioned push/pull in Columbia at Mizzou October 18th that I'm thinking of doing. It's only $30 to enter.

Sweet...thanks Ben.

Ill have to keep that in mind, could just combine my ME days and run out there to get my feet wet.
