Well since June i went on the Rippetoes workout and ate like a hoss. I went from about 149 to 161 and my lifts have been going up pretty steadily and i love it. But basketball season is about 2 months away and along with those 12 pounds ive put on a little fat and i want to get rid of it,and i seem a little less quick. But what im getting at is will Rippetoes be alright for basketball trainiing? Because last year before and during basketball i did a lot of 3x8-12 to tone up and use for endurance, which is key obviously in basketball. I want to just be faster and quicker mainly and still the muscle that i gained this summer. Any thoughts?
