:help:

Hi,

With all kinds of work on my mind , eveningschool and regular work , i had to less time to work out the past 7 months
Before i whas like 6 months active , followed a diet and got my training program from a magazine , i used the ULTRA program .
My primary goal whas to loose weight and after that build some serious mass .
I wheighted 220 lbs , that whas too much , most of it whasnt muscle , i had allot of fat.
I lost like 24 pounds(12kg) in 6 months , changed my eating habits , and it feld good , but i saw no real improvement in lean muscle .
Now that i have more time , almost finished evenigschool , and got back the motivation to start training , i like to get some advice of people who maybe got the same experienced like i did or maybe just can get me motivated by giving me verry good info.
Can you guys help me out with how many calories i can intake per day , give me a good and verying diet and a good training program for loosing fat and in the same time building some lean muscle mass so my arms grow and my chest and belly gets more muscled.
Im thinking about gettind verry serious into it , but its like always the start thats the most difficult
Thanks dudes

Hey man! Welcome to the boards.

Ok, It will be rather tough to add mass and shed fat at the same time. Personally, I'd add mass, get stronger, and then cut up afterwords.

I'm guessing that your metabolism is very slow. I'd eat smaller more frequent meals during the day. About 6-7 meals.
The thing is with gaining muscle is that you need to eat more calories than you consume, and apply enough stress to your muscles so that they adapt and grow.
Do you know what your maintanance calorie amount is right now? Well find out. Once you do, eat 200 calories over it. Because of your metabolism, you should put on some muscle. If you don't, add 200 more 2 weeks later. You want to increase slowly so you don't add on too much fat. Try to eat good foods like chicken, beef, and tuna etc. Also, you can probably gun for 2gram of protein per pound of body weight.

As for your routine, look into the wbb routine #2 that maki has made. It will put mass on you and get you stronger. Please, do not, and I mean, DO NOT look at magazines and get advice from them. Most of the stuff they preach is crap. I have chosen some articles from the WBB main site for you to read. It will help you set off on the right foot.

(read them in the order i give them to you)

Ok, if you read those articles, i guarentee that your knowledge will increase vastly! If you're serious about your training, take an hour of your time to read all of them. If you still have questions, we're here to help. Good luck man

yesterday , i took a look on the balance and saw that i allready lost nearly 2 pounds , not that good ?
ive got also some headache , starts mostely around noone , when i do nothing its ok , but when i get some activity like walking up the stairs or just bending over , my head begins to bounce really bad , its a serous headache for some minutes and then it fades away
is this happening because im too low on calories or something else ??
