View Full Version : Question on changing training days?

G'day fellas.

Do you guys think it would be detrimental to my training if I had to change the days on which I train from week to week. I will do my best to keep them the smae, but due to training partners and equipment requirements they may change a little.

My standard week goes;

Monday: Deadlift focus

Wed: Bench Focus

Friday: Squat Focus

I may have to change them to Mon/Thur/Sat or worst would be Mon/Thur/Fri

What do you think??

I have had a similar situation in the past; as long as the training does not become counterproductive where you are working similar muscle groups on cosecutive days then you should be fine.

One thing that many people do not realize is that deadlifting does strain your pectorals, so do not train bench the day after heavy deadlifts.

I dont think that's a big deal at all the way you have it structured with Bench in the middle of the week. I wouldnt want to Squat and DL back to back though. But obviously getting in the gym and biusting your hump is most important.

Cheers guys. Thats what I thought, I try and keep at least a day between sessions.
