I started about 1 year ago training. Im 6ft 200lb~ and i turned 18yo this summer. Im pretty natural built and wide, i got a good chest and back but so good that it makes my arms look small or unproportionned -_-, i lift heavy and it it doesnt seem to make any difference when im cold. My question is should i take mass gain shake to get bigger arms(well obviously not only my arms) or ill just look like a fat bastard... guns are pretty my obsession. But most of the people that needs those weight gain are skinny people which im not, i assume.

Thats me last summer. I should try to get more soon.

My arms werent cold on the last pic, i wish they were D:

Im not aiming to be cut and rip, just massive bulk.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that i also eat alot, alot of meat and good things.

If your diet is in check, meaning you are eating TONS of food then yes a weight gainer is a good addition to your bulking

I'd recommend Maximus (http://atlargenutrition.com/nutrition_detail.php?products_id=18) Its really good tasting and a very good quality weight gainer.

Track calories on a site like fitday.com and see how many your getting from food. It's not too hard to get 3500-4000 a day in food, I do, but if you really find that you can't possibly eat more to gain... then yeah try a supp like maximus, even opticen or something for post workouts would probably work well.

Yea i live in montreal and i went to a good store and said that the best they got around is called Muscle Juice(dont meant to advertise) from Ultimate Nutrition. I guess it would be the way to go for me.

You probably should try eating more before you go wasting money on weight gainers. You'd be surprised how much food you can tolerate, once you train your body to expect it.

If you are looking to bulk up then I would make sure that you are drinking shakes between your meals, and especially immediately after training. Opticen with apple juice and a banana PWO works well, and I try to sip on a Maximus shake in the morning at my desk while I eat my other meals.

Shakes play an important part in meeting your protein requirements, especially when you want to support intense training. Calories should come from food but it is much more efficient to get your protein from shakes when you are shooting for 1.5 grams/pound of bodyweight or higher, and definitely the best option for post-workout.
