Decided to post before pic's and pic's from 2 weeks ago.

The pic's from 2 weeks ago I was on a Creatine cycle
which I think caused some water retention. I'm much
leaner now than in the Sept 14. 2008 pic's.

I was on the Creatine to help give more energy for those
1hr long cardio sessions I was doing almost every day. I
was still eating 5-6 small meals a day. Protein, fat, fruit,
green/leafy green veggies, complex carbs not after 4pm.
Lot's of water.

I figured why wait any longer as I'm still working hard,
making even more improvements.

I'm about 195lbs now and the photo's I'm about to post
below were about 198lbs.

So I'm pretty sure the little extra weight you see is
water renention from the Creatine as I've been off it
about 12 days and pissed a lot during the first several
but never became dehydrated.

Here are pic's from Sept. 14th

As you can see from the front and back shot's I'm
a lot leaner at around 197lbs than over 230lbs
thanks to the medical condition and Synthroid.

Abs were starting to show in those photo's, and starting
to show more now as the water retention from the creatine
goes away, and the skin is slowly retracting on it's own
which I'm very happy about.

I've started this week using Exfoliating gloves while showering
to help remove dead skin and cells. I don't know if it's my
imagination, but I think it's helping as well.

Crazy thing happened to me this weekend which really made
me feel good inside.

I just by chance met this exotic 24yo Portuguese girl on
Friday, and Saturday went back to her place for a fun
rendez-vous.

She told me what attracted her to me was that I looked
really fit and athletic compared to her current boyfriend
(which she didn't tell me when I first met her). And she could
also tell that I was really good/dirty, and liked the way i
handled myself in the sac.

I don't really care about that part, but what was really
nice to hear is that she told me I was really fit looking,
liked my muscles and small waist.

I can honestly say, you have no idea how pleasant and
touched I was to hear this.

I literally almost cried, had to hold it back so I didn't look
like a wuss infront of her.

For almost 10 years, no woman has told that they liked
me because I was fit and athletic looking. That really
made me feel good inside. I didn't even really care that
we hooked up. Just her telling me that really touched
a soft spot in a positive way.

Our rendez-vous was fun, but I don't feel any connection
to her at all. I have a connection with another person
on a level that I look for beyond physical and s#x. This
Portuguese girl is into partying, clubbing, weed not my thing
really, at least she was fit though.

Any how, enough about my personal life.

I just wanted to share that with you as I've really come
along way, I will say that thanks to a few members who
replied to a couple of earlier posts, I am very proud of
myself. I've also been working on the inside to be more
complete.

What I want to do now is build up some more clean
mass very slowly. One area I've always had trouble
building is the inner part of the upper chest. The
part that complete's the cleavage if you will.

I've tried everything, the outer part of the upper
chest get's huge as I do 225lbs incline bench
10-15x's, 80's for 15 reps proper form incline
flies.

That's the one area on my chest that's lacking and
not sure what to do? If anyone has any tips,
that would be much appreciated.

I will post some more photo's down the line as I continue
to make improvements

I do want to thank the people who have shown their support,
shared their ideas, and offered their encouragement.
It has helped a lot recently. Especially to those who've had
weight problems and lost a lot of weight as they know what
I've been through.

Thanks again for your positive feed back

p.s. LOL if anyone is wondering about the red mark on my
back, it was a bite from a black fly LOL :)

Great job dude you lost **** loads of fat around the mid section and your looking pretty lean also at 200 lbs.
Good job on the diet too its the trickiest part.
Your back is looking wide especially the top of your lats. Keep it up.
What you going to do next keep cutting or stay where your at?
P.s. That porteugese gal sounds hot. If i lived in Canada i'd be smoking that good BC bud right there with all you lucky Canadians.

Hey Essentialherb08,

I really appreciate the positive feedback, this just
motivates me more to train harder (but properly),
keep my diet up, and focus. Thanks for the compliments
on my back/traps.

I've really been working hard on them, doing shrugs
pyramiding up to about 275lbs for 5 reps, then hitting
the lower traps with very high wide upright rows.

Legs I always train hard, I'll show them later on when
I'm completely finished my transission. I have big
legs which have been starting to become more
defined in time. Squats at 315lbs for reps, stiff leg
deads 315lbs for reps and do several other quad/hams
along with calves.

Yes, you are right the diet is the most trickiest
part. It was really hard in the beginning, but seeing
what changes were taking place every week, that
just pushed me to keep it up.

To answer your question on what I want to do now. Well,
I've decided that I want to keep cutting but not in a drastic
way. I might ease up on my cardio soon i.e. no more 1hr
cardio sessions on off days, but not just yet.

During this period, I also want to make "clean" weight gains.
No gaining 20+ pounds then having to worry about
losing fat/inches especially with my thyroid medication.
Just 2-3 pounds every so often focusing on proper techniques
for all lifts while gradually adding more weight.

I want to make clean slow gains while cutting. I know many
say this is next to impossible, but I think for my body type it
can be done.

The reason I say this is b/c the past few weeks, my body
weight has been hovering around 193lbs, yet I'm continuing
to lose fat and gain definition.

So I think this is a good sign, the swiss ball training is really
helping me out a lot.

As for the Portuguese girl, she was hot, lot's of tattoo's,
but no connection, not like the one I have with the woman
I met when I was fatter in the summer. She also knows this
and says she still has the connection with me.

So who knows what can happen down the road now
that I'm in much better shape. I mean after the harsh
words we exchanged, to still have the connection, that's
hard to come by in life.

To me, having that connection is much more important
than simply hooking up with someone who was just hot.

But the compliments she gave me, were actually for me
more rewarding than the hook up. As mentioned, she
chose me while having a BF, and told me she was attracted
to me for being fit and my muscles. Then she got to know
my personality and really liked it.

This was very special to me as it's been 10yrs since I was
called fit and muscular.

I guess I'm in a vulnerable stage right now, but on a positive
note, I've been working on this with someone so I have
balance mentally and physically.

I believe this is very important to be truly healthy.

Just want to thank you once again essentialherb08 as
it really inspires me to keep going and pushing myself.

What about you?

What are your stats? Goals with training and what you
want to do with your body? Training style?

How often do you train? What type of diet (foods including)
do you have?

I'm always open to new techniques and ideas?

awesome progress, man. very inspiring!

Thanks man :)

All the feed back really just motivates me more
to keep training properly, dieting, and train harder.

Everyone here has been really kind and supportive :)
I really appreciate it, means a lot to me!!

I'm slowly managing to get over the pain that the
weight has caused me, and putting it towards my
new personal training career for positive use.

I really want to help people achieve their fitness
goals, not for myself but for them.

At one point I thought about steroids, but still
unsure I want to go that route. I will be honest,
I had purchased Test Suspension 2 month cycle
with Nolvadex and Clomid PCT when I was 20
until the thyroid problem came along. I haven't
bought anything since.

I do think of how huuuge I'd be if I'd been
juicing for the past 10yrs, but with my thyroid
problems and other risks, not sure it would've
been worth it.

I will post pic's in another month or so as
I'm changing every week with the work
I've been doing.

Thanks again for your supporting words and
positive feed back, it just makes me work
harder :)

Yea man I can relate. Being that ive been a physically unattractive fatboy most my life. Lol If I went from being the beast that you were to the fat dude the drugs n health problems turned you into then finally transforming again to a more similar form of your old buff self and then having some hot bodied pot smoking exotic porteugese girl recognize the hard work with compliments and a little lovin I'd feel like crying too! Its like finally a breath of fresh air.

As for me. My goals are to get as strong as possible as efficient as possible while staying lean. Right now Ive been training seriously since July benching a modest 135 and am now up to 210 n went from squatting 185 to 275. I aim for 20-30 lbs for month on squat and bench. I'm training with "heavy" weights low reps lots of sets and doing heavy high rep negatives and this routine is working like a charm. My diet is similar to yours except I usually dont eat carbs on most days and try to stay in ketosis most the time. I'll be posting some pics n vids up soon so ya'll can see my progress too.
