In the cutting version you're supposed to eat 25g-50g carbs total before your workout and then zero after because you are carb depleting.

On the bulking version, lyle recommends eating 100g carbs/day.

My question is, should the 100g carbs be eaten before the workout (in 2 or 3 meals) or should it be spread throughout the day?

I'm thinking the 100g should be eaten before the workout and zero carbs should be eaten after the workout.

Bulking with only 100g carbs? man wish I could get away with that.

I don't think I could live on 100 carbs per day... on or off of a bulk.

I wouldn't eat all 100g right before hand. Usually I didn't even eat before doing my depletion cuts (not necessary, just preference). But having some before hand is fine, in fact if I remember correctly he recommended it.

*Oh ya check out his forums he probably would have an answer somewhere around in one of the sections about the bulking routine.

All right, I'll eat the 100g carbs through out the day.

I don't think I need to be taking a PWO shake since I am carb depleting right?

I really thought more people would give more input on this.

For the cutting version I was only eating 25g carbs but I was also eating roughly 1,600g carbs for my refeed in a span of 36 hours, so that's almost 6,500 calories just from carbs alone + protein/fat = probably close to 9,000 calories or even more. :moon::fart:

did you not read my post? did you not read the book? get in your 100g whenever that may be.
