I've heard from a friend at the gym that it isn't a good idea for bodybuilders to run long distances, but instead to just do speed walks, or do interval training. (Walk for a certain amount of time and than spring for a certain amount of time, etc.)
The reasoning for this is that running long distances constantly tears the muscle fibers in your legs and doesn't allow to get bigger, but instead just depletes them and makes your legs smaller.
What type of cardio does everyone do?
