View Full Version : 45% carbs, 15% fat, 40% protein

My trainer has me on a diet which consists of 45% carbs, 15% fat and 40% protein. For me this balances out to 2522 calories a day, protein 252 grams, Fat 42 grams and Carbs 283 grams
I am having two problems that I hope you can give me some advice on.

1. I am spending hours a day on the computer trying to balance my meals and get them as close to these specifications as possible. How do you guys do it.

2. This is a lot of food. Half way through my meal I am done. I have to force the other half down?

I think you have a typo in your math.

If you have a trainer, ask him for some meals that fit his specs. That is not a lot of food.

I am 38 years old 5'11" and 197 lbs 23 percent body fat. Like many men the only place that you notice weight on me is around my belly.
My goal is simple drop the body fat percentage and put on mussel. My goal is not to be huge, But to me cut and defined. To be VERY cut and defined.
And yes I think their is a a mistake in the math. It should be
2522 Calories, 252 protein, 283.75 carbs and 42 fat.

My trainer said I would be on this diet for a short time until my body fat drops and then we would be increasing the calories.
