Just a reminder, the AFPF War On The Shore Challenge is Saturday
11 October at F-I-T Gym in Los Angeles.
Scot Mendelsons F-I-T team is challenging
The Nemesis Powerlifting team out of Ventura, California.
It is a Push/Pull event. Everyone is invited to compete in
the sanctioned event. I like the whole Team concept he
thought up for this event. There are people coming from
San Diego, Sacremento, Los Angeles, Ventura, Cammarillo
and Fresno to compete in this event.
I will be competing in it to get ready for WABDL Worlds.
I am gonna try to get back over the 700 mark. There will be some
young, talented folks are gonna attempt it with me.
A 50 years young lady will try to do triple bodyweight in the
deadlift. A 70 year old gentleman will attempt to bench 300ish
at 220. I have a 67 years young gentleman will attempt a 400+
bench press. A 123 year old young man who just started training
for powerlifting will attempt to deadlift over 3x bodyweight.
He is still taking applications up to the meet. Hopefully, I can see
some of you folks out there.
