Hey everyone, just a quick post.
I dont know what the general consensus is here on p90x, but I managed to get a copy and am following it. I gotta say, if nothing else you break a sweat!
Anyways, im 6'2" about 160 pounds. I'm looking to...be in better shape for lack of a better term. All the results I see from p90x seem to be people build muscle and lose fat at the same time. I can only guess that its because the workouts are so rapid and fast paced, they are cardio in and of themselves...
anyways, im not fat by any means...but I dont have a 6 pack. Thats fine with me, from the workout I would like to put on about 20 or 30 pounds without going up in body fat. I can work on cutting and losing the BF% later...
I have a large tub of weight gainer 2200 gold (I know its not great, but its better than none...and I have a lot). Now, I was considering using it after my workouts.
Would this be counter to the idea? I feel like p90x is designed to make you "fitter" and somewhat stronger, but not necessarily "jacked" which is fine with me. But would the weight gainer counteract the weight loss principals that the program works on?
