Does Creatine have a shelf life?

Does Creatine have a shelf life, or is it good til you use it?

A few years back I had a tub of GNC Monohydrate, it had en expiration date on it. But, I'm not sure that it actually ever "goes bad".

I think it's more a matter of keeping it cool and dry so it doesn't degrade to creatinine... all about the storage... if it even gets damp it will be done for
