I look up 2 my big bro John Bernor by Gods grace is one of the strongest men in the world. i rep east end barebell and most importantly i train because its a diffrent way to worship my savior Jesus Christ without him it would be pointless so yea thats about it im gonna strat postin here so i dont forget what i do weekly lol

got a little frustrating 565 felt awesome than took a couple cracks at 600 and jus couldnt keep my form together. either way all glory the God the most high still had alotta fun.

This is the best my forms felt in a shirt. just like jesus to show up when were at our weakest hes at out strongest

we opend up my form a bit and slowed down my decent to keep tighter. 2 be honest it felt horrible at 1st lol but jus kept with it and as of rite now i think this is the best way for me to squat single ply John deffintly thinks so so gonna stay with it for the meet. THe 600 for a double was fun lol taking the 2nd one i actually hit the safety chain in the hole lol that was pretty akward anyway good nite of traing all around got 2 a bunch of the guys hit some awesome prs. Chase u look str8 nasty man ur form looks awesome i cant wait to see u hit that platform and rep JC to the fullest. John thanks for being an awesome coach and motivator. u give me that much need xtra push when i wanna fold lol Holla @ east end barbell

one week out from the meet so just worked up to 405 in the suit did a double and shut it down.

Gonna start working my raw free squats instead of pause squats as a second movement as reccomended by Johnny B lol. Feel like fat momo stuffed myself trkey day and havent been doin the clean eating thing much @ all. weighing around 260 probrably rite now o man lol. So i had my 1st santioned single ply meet this past saturday. I started out the week flirting with the idea of cuttin down to do 242. Lets just say i enjoyed my self as far as food goes quite a bit the past thanksgiving week between jimmys house and thanksgiving i was eating like a champ lol. long story short i ended up weighing in around 252 so wit some deliberation wit big johnny the smartest thing would be to just compete @ that weight. So i opened up with 570 4 the squat. It felt about as weird as it could. I literally shifted hard to my left on the way up. it was freakin crazy!!lol but i got the lift. So than sandi subbed in as my coach lol and she told me to take 605 4 my next lift. i took it and it felt heavy got down to the hole and loosend up like a momo couldnt get outta the hole no good. i thank took the same wieght for my 2nd attempt. to be honest i wanted 605 so badly so i knew i had to find that balance btween gettin jacked up in that holy spirit and keepin my head. i ended up gettin the lift and i got so excited i leaped up outta the monolift and stepped on CTs shoe lol iman idiot. than on2 the bench i took 340 as my opener. took it slightly unbalnced to the right but got the lift. Than i took 360 and it came up hard but got stuck in the middle tried to readjust but was too late came down slightly so no lift. than after tlkin to johnny for the heck of it i took 400 and...no good lol but i was happy to just handle it ...somewhatlol. on 2 deadlift i hit my opener of 515. during the warmups felt weird mainly because this was the heaviest of been and gettin down to the bar was not easy. than lookin for a pr went 2 555 came up fast but the whip from the bar acutally made bar come down a lil bit from lockout. i never had that happen b4 again really wierd feeling...no lift. than after askin chasey and ct decided just a samll jump 2 565 pulled it got it my hips pushing through for lockout and boom ..lost it on grip i than went on 2 throw a bit of a fit like a big baby..great ambassador of christ rite lol. 4give me lord anyway finished totaling 1460 and 2 b honest was content with it but wasnnt quite happy with it. idk if it was a combination of havin sucha exciting training cycle or puttin numbers in my head are jus not attainable rite now or jus bein a competive idiot in my flesh..maybe a combo of all 3 and than sum lol either way i thank jesus for all he gives the best part of those lifts is always worshipping and gettin jaked up in the spirit and singing to JEsus. the feeling in my soul is amazing and i hope i made him happy even tho i was a big idiot at times. so that was my meet i kinda thank all the guyss from east end u guys rock bob ur the best CR congrats on that 700pd squat man str8 nasty todd ur irish jig is aweesome lol way proud of u brian and gino u guys are so darn strong and standup guys. Chasey u were sucha a breath of encouragment all day. Every moment i wanted to get in my flesh and ignore God u were there and God used u 2 keep my in check. i love u soo much bro and ur sucha blessin u have no idea.Johnny thank u for puttin up for me goin over 2 years now lol. ur a the best spiritual mentor/coach/best freind/big brother/ i could ask4. Mcassalins i kwn i butcheerd your name u guys are sucha awesome family. joel ur sucha godly amazing man. and if i see another thumbs down from lenny im gonna break down and cry lol

johhnnys got me puttin some work in wit the shirt. Felt really good last couple singles Praise God. Practiced hard tucking the crud outta that shirt even tho it hurts so bad haha. Feel pretty good though gears fitting tighther which is always a good thing gettin xcited bout the march asylum meet. thank u Jesus for you boundless mercy grace and Love. the plan was to 1st work up conventional and than work up sumo both to a moderate heavy single moving towards the meet and decide which one to use for the meet. Conventional pulls felt good a couple weeks ago when i hit 525x4 but felt all off this week. Havent had nearly enuff time pulling in a suit to be remotely comfortable 2 pull conventional in suit so sumo won lol. The 550 felt good with the wider grip praise GOd. Weighed in @ 260. Chase looked awesome in both his sumo and his conventional pulls cant wait to see him at the meet. and john well lol wut else can i say hes just a freak. lenny also did some crazyiness as usaul you look awesme dude and it was awesome to see James. also very awesome to have my lil bro back around cant wait till darn bballs done so Godwillin hell get back in the gym

Good night of squattin Praise God! worked up and the warmups actually felt pretty good for a change. Workin up 2 the meet so had 2 work up something heavy. Took 610 and felt kinda loose as far as my upper back but the guys said the depth on it was good so was happy to get it up. Took 645 and felt alot tighter cut it about an inch high God willing i could be able to get something like this in the feb asylum meet. well see Godbless

Raw bench felt super weak i get killed when i dont stay tite on the bottom thats always been my weak point and is always gonna be i think i gotta start benching super tight and controlled on the first rep like i did in the begging and needless to say gotta go back to progressive overload next week. Funtimes over sadly. 2 training weeks left be4 the meet and my body weights 256 wit no clothes on in the morning lighter in all honesty than wanna be so i gotta figure out wut to do 4 the meet got time God is Soo Good!!

not much to put up 2nite moved around a bunch of the equipment in the gym after benching was done looks pretty sick. definlty awesome to have sum new equipment in the gym, a big blessing. the first single with 380 felt pretty good the 2nd not so much lol. soo woke up friday a felt all congested in my head had had some not so good lookin mucous for weeks (nice right lol) but didnt think nuttin of it didnt take anything and this is what i get. felt alil better after i woke up got a shake in me and knew i had to train so i said let me jus suck it up and get thru my dlift workout at this point so close the meet got no choice. it felt pretty darn sucky did some reverse man stuff and crapped out @ 545 o man lol. jus felt like i had nuttin and this was legitimately the 1st time i ever had 2 lift sick ever thank God but it wont be last what did i learn...gotta dig deep inside of myself those times when im sick and lean on Jesus even harder. If he is truly strongest in our weakness than i got ways to go 2 learn that. thank Jesus ima baby in my walk and got plenty of time :) . im jus mad greatful i gotta coach like johnny that still pushes me even when i flop out lol hes the freakin best man. its now sunday morning and i havent eaten anything for the past couple days and im weighin 250!! hope i cant get that weight back up

I just wanted to make a quick post to thank my training partners and team. its been a little more than 2 years since i 1st got introduced to powerlifting by Mr johnny bernor and never thoughtd id love the sport as much as i do now. I wanna thank John soo much for everything hes done for me in and out of the gym hes sucha blessing to me its insane. Good last squat workout praise God!! Missing chase he ended up gettin in a car accident 2day Priase God hes fine tho dnt knw about his car though. John Looked amazing 2nite being around him soo much u think u get jaded by how fast he can move such heavy weight but no lol hes amazing. Had a pretty packed gym so thats always good for atmosphere. Recap squats warmups up felt sucky but Praise God the 655 felt good. Feel very controlled and the weight feels good on my back thank God!! Strained my neck a bit slept on it wrong and felt funky squattin so hopefullly will be betta by the morning Godbless

last training session be4 the meet just came in and did all my raw bench stuff. I feel alrite Praise God and slowly starting to get xcited 4 the meet. feel fresh too which is definitely awesome so just counting down the days now. 2 b honest the prospect of eatin meatballs and chicken cutlets @ Jimmys house in the PA is the best freakin part lol. happy tho john convinced me the wait to do this meet even tho it wont count as single ply total cause the IPA doesnt have a single ply division i couldn't really imagine doin my 1st meet outside of the church without john there. 1st AWAY GAME BABY lol Gods in Control

so we went up friday to stay @ jimmys and hung out abit friday night be4 the meet and johnny wasnt feeling to good @ all so we ended up driving back thru the city and meeting nikki half way. that alone sucked cause i just felt soo crappy for john. This mans been there for me every time ive needed him and to see him not doin well sukked. Thank God he got home safe and is doin soo much better i just wanna say i love u john soo much i hope u knw how thankfull i am 4 everthing uve done for me. So edned up gettin solid amout of sleep and woke up pretty focused and really lookin to do well 1 for Jesus and 2 for John.

Squats Breakdown
Warmups felt alrite alotta nerves so jus tryin to contain them and lean on God.
time comes and i take my opener and all my weight shifted and i walked bakwords wit the bar O MAN lol than i racked it readjusted and praise God! i got it felt ugly and tuff but i got my opener out of the way. Needelss 2 say i started gettin pretty worried and anxiety started kickin in than 2nd attmpt Chasey drew lines on the mono 2 guide my feet which helped soo much and 610 felt alot better. To behonest i think i felt way to content with the 610 cause i took 640 and didnt go up 2 the bar wit nearly enuff focus and aggresion got stuck @ the bottom no good.

Bench Breakdown
Took warmups and actually miss timed and missed my last warmup of 315 ended up goin rite to opener @ 360 and no Good hancuffed myself so again i was pretty pissed. cant lie only thing that kept goin thru my head here we go again this is by far the best my bench has felt goin into a meet and i thought that was gonna be all for nought. But thank God took 360 again nearly lost it on the way down because of the tension in the shirt but i keep bringing it down and Praise God! i got it than 400. felt the best out of all of them on the way down Hard on the way up But Praise God!! got it 60 pd bench Pr and it felt awesome chase and jimmy were so darn encourging after it.

Dlift Breakdown
Warmups actually felt good but i was feeling like i was runnin on E so jus hoping i would have enuff to get through. The 500 felt good Praise God! the 540 almost handcuffed myself on the left hand but got it Praise God for another PR. than took 570 after much deliberation with jimmy and chase and got it above my knees and jus didnt have anything left no Good.

finisded totaling 1550 Praise God for a 90pd meet Pr. to think i could only total a lil over 1400 in multi ply gear last year MAN GOD IS SOO GOOD!! Thank u john for ur coaching witout u i dont knw where id be in the gym or in Life. Gods used you in my life in sucha way and i Love u big bro. Chase u were amazing saturday ur coaching and ur motivation was awesome and ur really an awesome friend. and our little adventure out of the city after we dropped of john was pretty fun lol. OLD MAN JIMMMY lol is a freak another world record and thank u for wisdom and encouragement. thanks 2 my lil bro critty 2 for coming cant wait to get u back in the gym sean was soo helpful 2 thank u Kid. Thank U Jesus sooo much for allowing me to enjoy doing this i love u God and i pray submit my life to u more and more every day

Sloppy week of training between dlift bench and squat not my finest work lol. so after john tlked some sense into me he decided the best thing for now would be to go into a raw cycle for several weeks to get a break from the gear and jus get stronger period. God willing this will be a break mentally from the gear and help refresh it a bit. 2nite was a great sign cause after all the moping and crap i liked the feelling of my legs bein toast lol Thank U Jesus that you soooo great and im sooo um well not lol

lol well ben was tlking about this vid of this guy doing an insane amount of reps in the squat and we were gooffing around as usaul so we said why not be an idiot and try to hit 100 on hack squats lol well only got 2 49

Praise God good night of training every1 did really well Jesus is amazing and some good fellowship just stunk cus johnnie ended up leaving early he wasnt feeling 2 well but hes feeling better now Praise God!

i got a golf ball growing out of my head...lol God is SOOO VERY GOOD thank u jesus pulls feel good the last 2 couple felt kinda suspect @ the lockout but the guys said they looked good. My grip opend up on a couple of the reps but still got em through my best sumo wit a suit is 5 reps @ 500 so i feel as good about my conventional pull as ever Godbless
