well, my quickest meal (no stove or oven involvement thank god) is a cup of cottage cheese and a massive bowl of muslei cereal (2 - 3 servings).

I like protein powder followed by a big gulp of flax or olive oil. Keep it simple eh?

Yougurt is a good one-you can add your fruit to it as well.

What types of snacks you wanting? (high/ low fat, carb, prot)

Nuts. No i really mean nuts!

Dude i like to make big pots of stew that fits into my diet. I eat the same thing for two of my 6 daily meals for like 7-10 days as i make it in bulk. I use the pressure cooker to make everything and it is F*ucking good! If you interested i can post some more about it.

just eat calorie dense foods.

some of my favorites:

bagels - 250 cals each
orange juice - 120 cals per cup
oils - 120-200 cals per tablespoon
beef - 250 cals per 4oz
eggs - 90 cals each
and of course, a weight gainer - 620 cals in 4 scoops

wheat bagels fill me up. Oatmeal is a good filler also.

I eat cans of tuna, dip it in hot spicy mustard.

Protein shakes

Go to your grocery store and look for Tyson Breaded Chicken Breast Fillet. Almost no fat, 18 grams of carbs, takes about 20 minutes to make in the oven.

Also hamburgers on the George Foreman grill are great.

thanks people.
the doc- im looking for calorie dense foods, that would probably be moderate protein/high carb and/or high fat.
also, what are the advantages of a pressure cooker? yeah post more about it if you don't mind :)
heathj -''wheat bagels fill me up. Oatmeal is a good filler also. '' I am not looking for good fillers because like i said, im looking to bulk up and after a while on bulk up, my appetite deminishes and it gets harder and harder to keep the food going down.. looking for good tasting meal or snack ideas that go down easily.

the lad asked for cheat meals! Where are the nachos, MacDonald's, meat pie and chips, cakes, buscuits, crisps, pizzas, ice cream, chocolate, cream buns, beer, Brown Ale and ...~drum roll~.....fish finger sarnies!

What the hell is a sarnie?

Frankster, the pressure cooker will cook sh!t in 1/10 the time it takes normally with greatly superior results. I just cooked 7 lbs of chicken thigh stew (low carb meal) and man everytime that tastes so good! Beans are done in 15-20 min instead of 2+ hrs. You can add whatever you want to make many many high cal meals at once!

Here's a fun one: Take a big scoop of vanilla protein powder. Add just enough water to make it gummy. Set aside.

Put about four tablespoons of cocoa in a bowl. Add four packets of equal and two tablespoons of Flax seed oil. Mix thoroughly, then add in the gummy stuff. Mix thoroughly.

Put it in the fridge. Wait a bit. Devour it.

Tastes like bittersweet chocolate, and depending on how much oil you add, it'll either turn out smooth and creamy or solid. Nutritional info?

28 grams fat (from the flax oil)
26 grams protein
8 grams carbs
4 grams fiber.

That's 388 daaamn tasty calories. Double those measurements and you've got yourself a big heap o' EFAs. Makes a good late-night snack, tastes good on top of frozen yogurt or ice cream (if it's a cheat day), etc. etc. etc.

My good lord....you do not know the wonderous confection which is Abba Zabba...

Its a candy bar. Vanilla taffee with peanut butter in the middle. I'd kill every one of you bastards for one.

Wish I had any helpful recipes.

My idea of a bulk meal is 2 tbsp. of peanut butter and protein powder in 1 cup of Oatmeal, and 2 eggs. :p

1 Pint of Ben & Jerry's ice cream = 1250 calories.

That's bulk-tacular.

I eat a pint of ben & jerry's on power sunday.

I'd feel horrible!

I use to do the Ben and Jerry's ice cream on Sundays too...but that much sugar killed my intestines. Tastes soooo good going down though.

I went out today, and since I am "bulking", bought a half gallon of Edy's no sugar added fat free ice cream.

Calories Per Serving: 100

Sat. Fat: 0g
Total Carbohydrates: 24g

Breakfast: 1 Cup Oatmeal, 1 Serving Nitro-Tech (Ugh! Gotta get rid of it)
Post-Lift: 1 Isopure 25 Carb Packet, Phosphagen HP
Lunch: 3 Slices WW bread, 1 can tuna, 2 Tbsp. Fat Free Miracle Whip, 1/4 that half gallon.
Mid-Afternoon: 1/2 that Edy's, plus some rice cereal.

... How am I doing so far? :p

04-14-2001, 03:19 PM
Yaz, how does the Edy's taste? Any good? Like I said in my post above, big amounts of sugar don't agree with me, but I love ice cream. I'm wondering if I can get by with this brand.

04-14-2001, 06:37 PM
It tastes really good...

But it's 8:30pm now, and I am in complete anguish. Don't do it. I know I won't anymore. :(

I need to find something else to binge on once a week. Anyone have some good suggestions? Something that won't make me **** myself preferably.

04-14-2001, 10:01 PM
Natural peanut butter. Straight from the jar. I can (and have) downed the entire thing in one sitting. Yeah, it's a buttload (no pun intended) of fat. But hell, you wanted to binge, right?
