Disappointed in my deadlift.. wanted to get at least 150 for military press, but at least I got a 315 squat, something I've been after for a while! :D

Loving the adistars... Wait till yu become a fat heavyweight like me, they fall apart. Good depth on it to.
The crossfit total is a great idea for functional strength.

Nice work - is the military press seated, standing, strict, push jerk?
I ordered a pair of oly lifting shoes yesterday. Looking at your picture... I can't wait til I get my hands on them.

You shan't regret. :D

Standing with a strict press, no jerking motion at all. The way military press should always be done!

Nah I don't do crossfit, just go to a crossfit gym and participated in the total meet. The workouts they do do look pretty brutal though... 30 muscle-ups in one session...

Muscle ups are hard! I had a friend that would do them for sets of 10 and also liked to do clapping chins.
That is a great strict press, anyone who can hit their own bodyweight on that lift is impressive.
Do all Crossfit locations have meets like this? I might be interested in checking one out since I am not really a competitive powerlifter but like the atmosphere and the opportunity to compete.
You shan't regret. :D
I'm so excited, I can't find a word to describe it. It's been a while since I've been this excited... I just hope I ordered the right size!

I just hope I ordered the right size!
The ones I ordered were a little too big. I just wear 2 pears of socks and they stay nice and tight.
Mine are a little too big also but I can crank down the laces and velcro and its fine.

Not to hyjack the thread but what kind did you get? VS? Do-Wins?
I was going to either get VS or Do Wins considering how expensive Adidas weightlifting shoes are, but I found this deal I definitely could not afford to miss.

I found a 15% off coupon online so I got them for only $55 (size 7.5 for me)
Damn dude that is a great deal!
Yea, I still can't believe it. They only had three sizes available, good thing my feet are small (but they are extremely wide so that makes up for it I guess)
I don't want to hijack this thread but those of you with a size 9, you guys might want to check this out

I have been trying to get a pair of the adistar II's in. The adistars have been quite a dismal shoe, they fell apart far too fast.
I'm a heavy kid but I am not moving enough weight to demolish these shoes like I did.

I've had my adistars for a year and a half now. They are one of the best purchaces i've ever made. I can't imagine squatting without them now (and will never, ever go back to regular shoes). Pittbull you will not be dissapointed.
