congrats on the PR bro but lose the 5 brd and go to something alot lower. at 5 brds your not really using the shirt. if you hit it a 5 youll have no problem getting it off 3 or even 2

Thanks bro! I will definitely go lower on my next ME bench day! I know a 5 board is pretty high...but we were going to work our way down each ME day, ya know? Or is that a bad idea? Should I only stay around 3 & 4 boards?

5brd is great for breaking in a shirt, especially if you have exceptionally long arms
When I'm breaking in a shirt, my session will look like this
5brdx2 reps
4brdx2
3brdx2
2brdx1 - end it here. You need to work down boards in the same session. Going to a max on 5brd isn't going to do you much good. Anything higher than a 2brd really doesn't do much good in a shirt other than breaking it in

I agree that anything above a 2brd, shirted, isn't helping much. High boards raw, low board shirted. I break in shirts 2brd, 1brd, 1/2 board. I may occasionally overload with a 3brd but not very often.

I do have a big wingspan, about a 6'1 wingspan...and its really only the 3rd time ever using this shirt...so I was just testing the waters. Thanks for the info...I will definitely use this routine next time in the gym!!
