View Full Version : Recommendations on using the Prowler

I finally found someone locally who can fabricate the prowler for me and it will be ready next week. Can anyone recommend how they use it as it relates to a conditioning routine? I was planning on using it 30 minutes 2x a week to supplement running. I am justnot sure how to best fill that time. I figured some suicides, some long pushes, but thought the more experienced folks would have some ideas. Thanks in advance.

Just push it for a set number of trips. We started with 200' at base weight then added plates and lowered distance until we were at 4-6 plates and 100'. Play around with it, but take what ever you think you'll do and cut it in half. Yes, it sucks that bad...

Now you guys have me excited :) One of these days, I am going to talk my wife into a trip to KC; she can go shopping and I can get a training session with a real group.

I usually mix it up some a few times a week with my prowler,
I put on 2-4 plates and pull it for 200'ish feet, do that 3-4 times, then a few back wards sets..

then push it a few times then take off a few plates and sprint with it on the low handles..

Usually by this point I'm done..

the prowler is an awesome tool to add in the mix.. you can do all sorts of fun stuff with it.
