im currently on a cut, on my cardio days with no weight lifting activity, do I drink protein still after my workout?

Yeah, high protein is great for a cut.

I would still have shakes on recovery and cardio days. Timing is not as important as it is on your weight training days though.

To support your cardio training you may want to have some fast carbs before training and maybe 1 scoop of protein blended with apple juice and banana after training to replenish.

Now more than ever do you need to supp with protein. What kind are you taking??

yes, you should up the amount of protein you take. have a shake 30 minutes or so before if its pure whey.
