If you're in need of a good laugh - check out this video. Must of us have done something fairly stupid from time to time, some of us might even have it on video - but at least we deleted it. Don't be afraid to add something to the thread that will gives us something to laugh about today. Have a great weekend.

I thought that too. At first I was laughing - then when the kids mom came down to save his life :) I was scared he was going to dump it on her leg - but after I saw no one was going to get hurt - I started laughing again. Not the most hilarious thing but funny enough.

heh... that was pretty funny. closest thing I've done to that is getting pinned on a bench without a spotter in my attic... Freaked out momentarily and then starting dumping weights from side to side. But I'm sure a lot of people have done that.

I think getting pinned while benching is a right of passage into manhood as there probably isn't anyone on this board that hasn't. I had collars on so I had to do the roll down & dump. I don't bench with collars on to this day because of that!

That could have really sucked if Super Mom wasn't there to save the day. When I first started doing squats I leaned too far forward once and I fell up against the rack uprights with the bar. That was the last time I have ever forgotten to concentrate on my lift.
I never squat with the collars on for that very reason. I also squat inside my rack and have the safety pins/arms set to a couple holes below parallel just in case my knees give out and explode or something like that. ;)

I had a 1980 Toyota Tercel that had suspension like that - especially after cramming the starting offensive line in it one day in the taco bell parking lot when I was in JUCO.
Interesting machine.

That was funny. It would've been even funnier if the mom power cleaned it off his back, and then racked it.

You know, though the kid and his buddies are goofs, the exercise may not be a bad one. It is a similar concept to the Hopper which Hise devised for the deadlift.

http://view.break.com/591878I know that kid. He lifts at my gym. He's actually a lot stronger than in that vid, now. Squats 315 for reps.
