You are blessed man. If your strongman lifts are anywhere near as impressive as your physique the sky is the limit for you

Thank you again everyone....very very kind words!

ONe work of advice I can lend, is if you get an injury, get it taken care of right away, I waited 6 months to get it treated and just got lazy, ate wrong, trained half assed and it shows, it is kinda depressing. But things are on the up, I am working back, strength is no where near what i want but geting back in shape is going well, which is most important now for me. Train hard, but train smart!!

When did you start lifting?

I started my freshman year of highschool(im 33 now). Just the average stuff for footbal. Got into it seriously when I was 22 and started bodybuilding, and then on to others liek powerlifting and strongman.

What kind of routine do you use to train for both bodybuilding and strongman competitions at the same time? Or do you train differently depending on what kind of event you feel like doing in the near future?

The level you're at now is a goal of mine. I want to get that bodybuilders physique but also attain a high level of functional strength.

Amazing! You look incredible. A balance of looks, strength and stamina. I am curious... what does your routine look like?

Thank you again everyone, unfortunately I don't look like that right now. Those were my better days..but again on the mend and hoping to get back near there.

I was strictly bodybuilding for years, so I was standard 4-5 days in the gym, high volume, with medium type weights.

The last few years before I got injured I was doing 3 days in teh gym, a push day(chest, tris, shoulders), leg day, and pull day(back, bis, traps). Then I had event training on Sundays for strongman and that by far put me at my strongest, and in the best condition, I could do high rep squats and such all day long..flipping the tire and sled dragging really got my cardiovascular up.

After new years, I hope to be on a regular routine, this past year and a half went like this, got injured, got married, got promoted at work, bought a house, and now we have a beautiful baby girl on the way...once the routine of the baby is set(due aroudn new years), we hope to get a gym schedule set back in place...not a priority anymore, but i do prefer to be in shape.

Thank you again everyone for the kind words, this board rocks and it has already helped me pic up the intensity in the gym over the past two weeks or so.

Thank you, far from it though. Lacked that upper body thickness in the back and chest.
From the looks of your pics, you seem to be on the right track.

Are you serious? I see little, if any flaws on your physique.

Thanks for the compliment.
