View Full Version : I want to lose the last 5 pounds

I have been training 6 days a week - 1 1/2 hours a day for the past 9 months (weightlifting and cardio). I've lost 30lbs and people say I like pretty good. I have a 6 pack, but there is definitely 5 or 6 lbs of fat still lingering over my stomach and obliques. My diet is 100% perfect and calculated. I take the following supps: fish oil, flax oil, green tea extract.

Would it be beneficial for me to invest in a fat burning supp? I kill myself in the gym everyday, but I can't shave these last 5lbs.

If your diet is 100% perfect why would you need a fat burner?

If you are actually as lean as you are and strict I'd suggest looking into a specialization type diet. I've personally used the UD2 with great success. There are some other ones out there as well. Lyle has several books that are very informative about dieting down to near contest leanness. I think he addresses fat burners in them as well.

How long have you been stuck at this weight. You obviously need to burn more calories than you currently are. That means you can take in less, work out more, or take a supplement that may help you burn more throughout the day. Based on your post I opt for taking in less, adding in a fat burner is fine but not necassary.

post your "perfect" diet. Smalls is right. You aren't eating less than you are burning.
