Hey everyone,

I found this sight a few months ago and I have been lurking - tons of great stuff on here!

I was hoping some of the more experienced members could give me some insight on my diet. I weigh 185lbs, and maybe about 20% bodyfat (I'm just going off what I have seen other people's stats and pics, I've never had it tested).

Cals: about 3000 average
Protein: usually about 200grams

Most of my protein comes from steak or ground beef. I'll admit that I occasionally use whey protein. Is this a good diet? How much over my maintenance calories to gain weight without putting too much fat on?

I think we need more details. You could probably up the cals a bit.

Hmmm... I thought I learned a lot by lurking here for a couple months, but I guess not. I didn't know I was supposed to be eating fat and carbs too. All I've ever cared about was getting the protein. I'll post again when I have more info.
