Is it still necessary to eat like a horse on lazy days to get your protien and calories, when you pretty much do absolutely nothing?

For best results, I would still eat your diet as it should be to the best of your ability, you recover, heal and grow on the rest days. I would not go out of your way if you have plans or are in the middle of something to eat, live life and enjoy family first!

Only if you want to gain weight.

You recover out of the gym, remember that.

You wont necessarily have to eat as much because you're not expending as many calories, but I suggest you do. Basically what cphafner said.

I do always feel hungry still and I hate that feeling, so I do still eat a lot just not as much as usual, specially if I have a few lazy days in a row. Ive just started uni you see, so still drinking every other day and then needing to recover. So my training has deteriorated quite a bit, but I will be back in form soon.

Well, you realize what is holding you back so its up to you to change that.

Well said, most people hate to realize their misses are what holds them back.

Thanks.

Absolutely. We all need to stop making excuses sometimes and come back into reality. If we want to change things we have to make sacrifices.
