501x1 video "Touch and Go" I didn't like the bounce (I didn't even need to do it) so I had to do it again.

501x1 video "a little pause, my goal was no bounce off the chest".

Working sets to finish up
449x3
449x3
449x3

I did some tri's and called it a day. I was due for a burst in strength, and it appears that it is finally here. 500 felt really good, and I actually felt like I had more in me; I know I had more in me. Now I just have to do it on the platform to make it official.

By the way, my comment in the second video is because I get a lot of youtube haters saying the weight is not what it is.

Thank God for strength.

Nice strong bench especially taking it out of the rack yourself. With a liftoff guy and a little technique you'd be in the mid 5's in no time.

Thanks for the comment. What do you mean by technique? Just curious to get any positive feedback.

From my perspective it looks like you could pull your shoulder blades in a lot tighter and move your grip out wider so that you could utilize your lats a little more

What him said. In addition you could try to push through your legs. It's a hard concept to get, but once you get it, you'll freak out at how much more explosion you will get out of the bottom.

That was crazy dude. And a 225 curl is damn impressive as well (no sarcasm).

I have a competition coming up, but once I am done I'll try to widen my grip to see if the results are better. I am ok, but I am still learning how to master the lift.

That was strong! You handled the weight very well! Both Vincent and Travis know their benching, so it is great to see them offer advice. Oh, and nice shirt! :)

Definitely, you'll total more than 1300lbs (curl, bp & dl, unequipped) at the March 29, NASA Pro Powersports Championship!

Thanks. I was surprised at how smooth it went up. I tried it a year ago and it went up, but man it was ugly.

Unracking the bar yourself, relatively close grip, very little leg drive, 501x1... incredible benching!
Nice curl and deadlift, too.

how old are you cyrus? that benching, especially with that narrow grip and long range of motion is awesome! That 500 vid looked easy! If you listen to the big boys here.. you could easily be mid 500's in a matter of MONTHS!

I don't see what the big deal is...I can get half that for one.
