Hello. Can anyone tell how ipf training is different from the pro feds training? Obviously in the squat you need to practise the walk out but what about the bench and dead? Or does one need more time in gear for pro training?

The training is probably the same because both meets represent the elite lifters. Brian Siders, Wade Hopper and Dennis Cieri have competed in the IPF and Pro meets. The biggest difference is the competition/drug testing rules between the IPF and Pro meets.
There are probably 10 different federations putting on Pro meets, but only 1 IPF federation. So, the rules will vary from each Pro federation meet.

I'm pretty much a beginner, but the differences I see are:
Bench: Where you touch is different. I believe "belly benching" is not allowed in the IPF and so you would probably have to train to touch higher vs. other feds.
Squat: From what I've heard and seen in vids, IPF depth is pretty strict and deep; you rarely see super-wide stance squats.
Deadlift: Since there is the least carryover from gear in the deadlift, I would say you would train this lift the same regardless of what fed you were in.
Regardless of what fed you choose to lift, you still have to bust your ass in the gym.

In regards to gear, you really must put in your time to learn the squat suit and the bench shirt. I imagine it would be drastically tougher to learn with the mutli-ply gear. Not only are there more layers but the shirts are open back to.
