I was wondering does anyone here squat or Deadlift in work boots. Ive seen people do it and they say it keeps the feet flat. I have a pair of Timberlands but was thinking of using my chuck talyors instead. What would be better to use? Right now I'm using a pair of reebok classics.

they don't keep the feet flat, work boots will actually put you farther up on your toes. If you squat with a closer stance, they might help, otherwise stick with the chucks

Work boots will also add distance to your pull. If you have long legs like me, you want to minimize this as much as possible.

Every pair of workboot I've owned also has some give in the heel, which is something you want to avoid when squatting.

too much of a heel IMO. i lift in some new balance 574. need to get some chucks though. the 574s have a slight heel too.

Too much heel. Squat in sneakers much better.

QFT, also you want your heels down for pulling.
