I am wondering how people are able to keep a clean diet while constantly being on the go?

I went back to school, and it has led me to eating tons of sandwiches to get my calories in. The problem with this is that it puts my carb intake through the roof! I have no idea on how I would possibly be able to carry chicken breast, tuna, and all that other 'stuff' with me without it spoiling from heat (I live in hawaii). When I am at home making the food is fine, but there are days (most days actually) when I am out for 12-20 hours without coming home!

What do you all do?

Carry a mini cooler.

Carry a large cooler, preferably with wheels.
