Impressive lift.
Question do you train at a commercial gym? Been meaning to ask, just wondering because you dont see that type of bench/rack in commercial gyms.

Ya, I just seen that in his sig. I wouldn't think that much more was possible over your 3 rep max. Either way, still an awesome lift. I could only dream of that power.

I think he hit a 562 equipped (meaning shirted) bench. The 491 is his best raw if I am reading that correctly. Awesome work, J.T.!

Just to answer your question yes, that is a commercial gym its LAC in lexington ky. I used to workout there, they have some really good equipment for real lifting. Looking strong man, keep it up.

Well, it has taken some time. I have been competing sine 1994. I started out weighing 160 and bp around 330. With a high protein diet and heavy training, my weight and bp has increased over the years. As a drug free/drug tested lifter, patience is extremely important to make positive gains each year.
Thanks a lot!

Why? 460x3 suggests to me like he ought to be able to do 500 without a huge problem.
Nice lifting, by the way!

I like doing triples to increase my unequipped bench press. I only take max unequipped single once a year in the gym. My next max unequipped single will be Dec 19.
Thanks a lot!
