View Full Version : Touch-and-Go ME Bench question

Seeing Rob's fantastic bench video (awesome strength!) in the other thread
made me thing of the follwing:

How many of you use TNG as part of your ME (not DE) bench training, or
do you mostly follow a regiment of pausing all of your ME lifts to follow what
you would do in your comp. lifts? If you do, do you feel you get more of a
workout on the lower part of your bench work by moving the weight through
a full ROM, vs. pausing and having to tank the lift when you get stuck?

For example, I've seen training videos where a set of triples are done with
TNG on the first two reps and only pausing on the last rep, vs pausing all
reps.

I think pausing has its place,but tng most of the time, i think you can get slow if you pause all the time.
