My old journal was getting cluttered with crap so here is my new one. With a new journal comes a routine, going to do Starting Strength.

This is my old journal with my pictures at the bottom. These are my before pics that I took last week, though I have been gaining for a while.

Squat 225 3x5 I went lower than ever, it was very hard but I got all the reps.
Bench 135 3x5 felt great except for maybe the last 2 reps of my 3rd set.
Deadlit 225 1x5 felt good

This was a pretty intense workout.
So do I add 2.5 to all my lifts next time I lift?

You are supposed to start out with very light weight for you. Add 5lbs to the bar each workout. The first workout should not be hard at all or you will stall out quick.
After a couple weeks I add 5lbs every 2 workouts.

Ok so I'll take off weight of all of those lifts lifted above
185.squat
105.bench
185.dl
Sound good? I'll add 5lbs each workout.

Sunday
Leg press
Bench 135 2x5 1x6.
Lat raises...

I know, Planet fitness. Going to try out this real ****ty gym today that has a squat rack. I'll post today or tomrrow. Problem is that I'm broke and 50 bucks for a gym I'm only using this month when I have a PF membership.. but I know, i need a squat rack.

I'm still about 145 on my moms scale...This is because of finals week when I was sick, vomiting, on stimulants, and not eating at all. I already feel stronger.

So I went to this gym, nobody was there which is nice and it had a squat rack.

I usually use the maxi pad but ther was no maxi pad so I had to relearn how to squat.

Did lots of warm ups and then just 2x5 230. I'll do 3x5 230 next time because I know I can. I just had to get used to actually doing a real squat, and to be honest it felt a lot harder and better.

Then i did 3x5 100lbs military press. That felt great, the last rep was tough but this is the best I've ever military pressed before so I'm very happy.

Pull ups till death.

When I got home, about 6 days ago, I was 139 pounds due to being sick for a night and not eating for a week. I'm 150 lbs now, lots of water weight and I'll probably drop to 145 after I use the bathroom a few times but I'm super happy because this is the first time I've ever weighed 150 on my moms scale which makes you lighter than you actually are.

150! Whoa! Suddenly 170 doesnt seem too far off.
