So I spent today making an oatmeal recipe. I wanted to make enough on a Sunday so I'd have 5 portions I could refrigerate for the whole week. Needless to say...it came out REALLY GOOD. I wanted to share it with everyone:

6.25 cups water
1.25 cups steel cut oats
5 tbsp of Smart Balance Peanut Butter (this has flax seed oil in it)
0.75 cups of chopped walnuts
0.75 cups of raisins
2.5 tbsp of butter
3 tbsp of brown sugar (or to taste, I like about three)
2.5 scoops of whey protein powder (I use chocolate)

Boil the water, stir in the oats, simmer approx. 25 to 30 min. Stir in nuts and raisins about halfway through. Towards the end mix in the peanut butter, butter, whey protein and brown sugar.

It makes five servings with 21g protein and 550 or so calories - and the Omega-3 content is delightful. Tell me what you think!
