View Full Version : Are you supposed to stick your belly way out on raw bench pressing?

Or is it only for equipped? I seem to be much weaker sticking my belly out when raw bench pressing. I am not as tight and lose my groove when I stick my belly out as far as possible and seem to get less rebound from the bottom.

I have less range of motion sticking out and bench pressing to my belly raw so maybe if I do this right I will get stronger.

Well you want to push your arch up, but you don't have to push your belly itself out. Thats the trick to pushing your belly out is that you still have to be tight and controlled

Thanks will give that a try seems to be working right now but will have to test it under the bar.
