Friday, I just hit 405 for the first time on deads. I did it for 4 reps. Huge milestone for me!!!

Last friday, I hit 315 x 5 on squats. That was the first time I ever did 3 plates before for squat. Another huge milestone.

Bench, I'm working my way up to 3 plates, but 225 is not considered a "heavy day" for me anymore. I'm using 225 at least on my "volume day" in the Texas method. So 2 plates on bench is a thing of the past for me!!!

Hellz ya!!!

Next goal is to get 225 for power cleans and OH press, but I have a feeling the OH press will take some time.

great progress dude. thats awesome to never hit 405 or 315 on deads/squats and then nail them for more than one rep!! keep at it!

Good job brihead. Isn't it nice that time proven training principles actually work? :)

By the way, I had such an intense workout yesterday. I supersetted dumbell flyes with shoulder raises and leg extensions. 5 sets of 20 reps for each exercise in 2 minutes. Dude, that was intense!

I've been watching your journal and your making awesome progress. Looks like the Texas Method helped you a lot on your numbers. I'm far behind you but my numbers are moving up slowly. I was talking with a buddy of mine last night that I worked out with in high school, he had amazing strength back then but quit years ago. 5'9 175lbs and he could clean and press 225, DL 455, bench press 315 in freaking high school. I said well, maybe at some point in my life I will be able to bench what you could in high school

Yes, I freakin love the TM though. It really has helped me make some very great gains.
