View Full Version : Weight Gaining Plateau

I've been gaining weight very steadily up until about two weeks ago. My training intensity hasn't changed, nor has my diet. I've still been making strength gains though, so should I be worried? And if I have hit a plateau, should I simply increase my calorie intake? Thank you all in advance!

if you have hit a plateau, simply just eat more calories. As your weight increases, your maintenance calories will increase. As you know, you have to eat over your maintenance level to gain weight.

How long have you been bulking for? I have found that after about two months of a bulk cycle I hit a plateau... what works for me is to cycle off all my supplements for two weeks or so (assuming your not on a SD cycle or something) and switch up my routine a little bit. And definitely increase the calorie intake if at all possible.

Just a little over two months yeah. Im actually gonna up my supplement intake (except protein), as its been staggered (Creatine every other day, same with multi and fish oils).

I wouldn’t stress it. There could be so many variables at play. Sleep, stress, over training, water weight, thyroid etc

Are you tracking your daily caloric intake?
