I have been keeping a log for a few weeks in the journals section. I thought I would post some vids up here to get some of you real strong guys to take a look. When I started 4 weeks ago i was 175 and this morning i weighed 187 so I am putting on some weight which I am liking. Any comments appreciated.

Nice work! How old are you and how long have you been training?

Thanks for the comments everyone. I am 19, I have never consitantly lifted weights for more than 2 months. Pretty much the summers all of highschool. I am really taking it serious this time.

Mostly just reading this forum. Bench I just watched a bunch of travis's vids and just read about how your supossed to do the other lifts.

Your squat and bench form are looking solid, good work.

Looking good. On squats, you drop in the hole. Don't bounce out of the hole like you do. When the weight gets heavier, you'll start falling forward and that's bad. And, hold your breath on all reps. Don't breathe out until the rep is locked out.

Thanks Rhodes I will think about keeping my breath in on the squats next time. By not bouncing it like I do, how do I go about doing that? I have never had any instruction on how to squat properly. Probably just need to work harder.

Yup, that's how it's done. You're going to be WAY bigger and stronger than the guys over on the bodybuilding section who says squats and deads are lame. Good job.
