Pushups seem very much so in the realm of GPP, but do PLers ever rep out pushups? Perhaps with 100lbs of weight on your back?

Either a weighted vest or a bunch of chain wrapped around you. could even wrap a band around your feet and up around you head along with the chain. there are ways of making a pushing much more challenging.

I do them on DE days at times with hands on blocks and chain over the back. Good for getting blood into the pecs and shoulders.

It's a toss up for me, sometimes I like them and sometimes I don't. Since I've been back powerlifting I haven't done them.

Pushups are a staple of my bench routine. I always do them at the end

great accessory work, use mini bands over the back, or chains for extra resistance

pushups are something I'd consider to be "active rest" between sets.. atleast for me.

One of the best exercises for athletes. Just need variations to make sure the resistance increases. They are far superior to a bench press for athletic development.
