I'm 150 pounds and work out 3 days a week. Im trying to get bigger but I want to gain muscle and not too much fat. Would it be unproductive to eat a lot of ice cream and and other fatty foods to gain muscle? What should I eat and what should I avoid? What should I include in my workout regime to achieve this?

nah, go support your national economy and buy some McDonalds.
You'll bulk, then cut, then bulk again, then cut again etc.
What type of workout are you doing right now?
