Strictly powerlifting related?

I would like to improve all of my numbers, and learn my gear better.

I have some other goals pertaining to school.

Bench 400 raw. (+ 25 now)
squat 700 (+50 now)
DL 650. (+ 45 now)

Put together a sweet total in a meet at 242.

That seems like a low ball, but I always tend to overshoot on the goal part, so well see how this approach goes. Thats less than 5 pounds a month so I think that is reasonable.

bench: 385 (+70 pounds)
Squat: 500 (+70 pounds)
deadlift: 500 (+75 pounds)
All raw, no gear. Im young so i think i can get 70 pounds by this time in 09. Another goal would be a football scholarship for a d1 school. Be 280 pounds by next august running a 4.89 40. Good grades.

Bench 350 raw (+75)
Bench 405 shirted (+90)
Squat 405 raw (+90)
Deadlift 585 (+90-130)

lol the deadlift goal looks screwed up b/c as to date ive only pulled 455 so that would be a 130 lb increase...but, that was in oct. and i never trained deadlift really...i think i have 495 in me now.

To actually hit all of my best gym lifts in a meet...the same meet! That would put me about 2300 total. I could live with that at 53!

Squat - Get over 800

Bench - 650

Deadlift - 600

Total over 1900 @ 198, then likely move up to 220's and break 2000

Look into going back to school

i want a 950 squat, a 675 bench and a 775 dead. a 2400lb PRO total in 308's

get a 500lb raw bench

I think I canget all of this if not more by Dec of 09

I had a bench press PR that I wanted to hit before Christmas and I hit it, +10 lbs. on Christmas eve.

Go balls out in to PL and see where it takes me.

Bench: 365-405 Raw, 550 shirt

Definately want to pull the big 600 for the first time and get 4 wheels raw. And squat, I just want it not to suck. :D

Deadlift 485 (been stuck at 350 a while)
Do 2 powerlifting meets
Not allow my conditioning level to slow me down in the gym
Spend 6-8 weeks training with some other system than the Westside template
Better posture and mobility, complete rotation of shoulder disconect without having to use an extremely wide grip.

This will be my second year powerlifting and I am doing the 5/3/1 so my goals are 600 sq 475 bp 600 dl all raw and I would like to put on more weight muscle I hope. Good luck to everyone on thier goals. Vinny thank you and matt for all your advice at the bench seminar. I go tonight to get set up for my cpap. If it works as well as you guys said maybe I should raise my goals.:)

My short term goal is to rehab my shoulder after it gets scoped on Monday. During that time frame, to get my bodyweight down to 230. Compete in the summer (2 meets) and bench a PR at 220 (over 730), and by years end to bench 800 at 220. And I plan to train like never before to obtain those goals.

-Finish my undergrad
-Decide what I plan to do with my life outside of school
-Bench 545 equipped in single ply, bench 405 raw
-Deadlift 635 and consistently deadlift over 600lbs
-Get my bf to single digits or close to 10% before I go away with the gf at the end of april
-Squat 700 in briefs, belt and knee wraps
-Get my ass into gear and compete
I missed a few of my goals last year, so who knows.

Work on all my pressing in general. I think with an overall stronger upper body that my strongman training will come along alot faster.

Lifting;
Total Junior Elite (302kg) and qualify for Junior Worlds in 2010... there by setting me up to hit Senior Elite (342kg) in 2011 to qualify for 2012 Olympics.

Achieve a perfect Entrance score and begin studying a double degree in Law and Commerce.

Undo the damage several years of being a self righteous cocky prick to everyone around me.

Live by my new life motto, forgive and forget.

This year I would like to bench 350, squat 500, and deadlift 500. I'm a little ways away from all of those, but with some hard work, who knows?

I also want to get back into better general shape and do more extra workouts focused on GPP and bringing up weak points.

Squat 700-750 , Bench 460-500 and DL 600-620 ...and with the way i feel everytime i get in the Gym i think i will be there by Nov. 2009 at a 210-215 bodyweight. it sucks to get back into it after a 3 year break but everyone already notice that im back in the gym and its only been 25 days and my waist is down 1/2 inch and my weight is up 7 lbs

- Deadlift 600lbs before the end of the year

2 down, 3 to go. Realistically I am shooting for a 300 bench, 400 Squat and 500 dead. But I'm leaving 350 on here because somtimes you gotta just aim high!:strong:
