i think i have a little more left. If i hadnt gotten cold and stiff i might of gotten it that day lol but i went out and got cold and failed miserably with 500 lol. How soon is too soon to max again? i was soo happy with the 5 plate pull but i really wanted to break 500.

You could have hit 515 or more, give it a few weeks then go for it.

thanks everyone. yeah, ive been wanting to try to pull it for a long time lol i want 545 by april so i can have a decent deadlift at my first comp. in may. in a week or two im going to try again and see if i can break 500. now, if my squat didnt suck so bad(180lbs less than my deadlift) and i could get a decent bench, id be off to a good start! haha

Thanks guys. keep it up alex. idk if it could be a factor for you but the thing i think that held me back the most was my form. just try to get its as perfect as possible and you can pull more. but, then agian, your form could be perfect lol...mine was terrible...lots of back rounding.

I was going to say that you at least can pull 525 but i just noticed that you are not wearing a belt?! 545 should be nothing by april ! you did not even struggle with that 495...

Awesome milestone to break. The 500's should go well up until you hit the dreaded 6 plates. Enjoy the trip. Love your form by the way. I like the wide conventional.

Evil: thanks man lol, ive never used a belt and am see how far i can go without one. all i use is a ton of chalk...(and some ammonia lol stuffs addicting!) i may do a competition before the may one i had planned...not sure yet...id like to break 500 at it on my last pull. its in feb.

Vin: Oh man, you have no idea how bad im wanting 585 right now...(okay, so you probably do lol) i def. want it by my 19th b-day in november. for you to complement my form on any lift means a ton to me. thanks man.

i use ammonia just to get the feeling of nice full lungs and it just helps me get my mind on the right track. it looks easier than it felt lol thats for sure.
