I only have this footage that's any good from any of my meets (sadly). A friend in Fl. sent me this or I wouldn't have it. This was at the 2005 Emerald Coast WABDL Record Breakers Meet in Destin, Fl.

I bought a new single F6 (my 1st) at the meet. I opened at 545 in my old Fury, took the F6 out of the bag and did a 495 2 board press real quick and went out and did a 584 (then WR 47-53 275's), this 600, and just missed locking out a 622. I had a ball that meet! It was my last WABDL meet but I really enjoyed my time there.

Wow, that was much much faster than my first 600 bench. Nice work

whats with that music though? Sounds like the sound track to Gone With the Wind or something. is it just a WABDL thing?

Thanks Travis! LOL with the music! I guess you've got to be old enough to remember it! It's from the soundtrack to the movie "Conan the Barbarian"...I guess it only fires up old people! Ha!

After I broke that record with 606,639, then 650, Bill Gillespie now holds it with a 711. Buddy, you have your weight down enough now. Go get it back.

If I can hit those numbers now It'll have to be in the APF. And it will be tough to top them doing full meets. The back and forth thing between closed and open back shirts was the biggest reason I finally stopped doing WABDL meets. If they ever go open back, I'll re-think it. By the way; how old is Bill now?

Bill is 49. I'm sure that as soon as he turns 50, my 716 record will be history.

Hey Roger! Just make it 722! You da' bench man! Or 733! Who'd have thought 3-4 years ago that over 50s would be hitting these kind of #s! Oh! You were right about the body weight drop. I finally started feeling a little weaker. Probably time to level off. 275 seems to be about my magic #.
