just wondering, does brown/wholemeal bread have a high glycomic value or a low one?

It will vary according to the brand. Normally it is probably medium on the scale.

ahh cool, thanks
so to get this clear, i want high glycomic foods during, before and after workouts, and then low glycomic foods at all other times...
anyone comment me on this?

^--Yep. Pre workout and post workout are the only times that high GI carbs are more desirable than low GI carbs.
