I went to the store and all they had was homo milk... I never had it but I think I like it now. What do you usually drink?

BTW homo milk = whole milk

homo milk? wats that?

I usually drink chocolate milk (have a weird taste aversion to plain milk), just using whatever milk is in the fridge (1-2% or fat free, my mom is a bit of a health nut) and chocolate syrup

If I really want a treat I add seltzer: voila, Egg Cream

Always used to drink whole but have switched to 1% due to high cholesterol. Will never drink skim, I don't even consider it milk. More like milk-flavored water.

Started with skim, then 1%, then 2%, now whole milk. I have never, nor will I ever, refer to whole milk as "homo milk."

But all the carbs are fine?

king8329

I do roughly a 40-35-25 ratio with my calories, give or take, so the carbs dont bother me. I work construction and weight train intensely, so getting enough carbs... calories in general, is really my main concern.

Apologies, I typed my calculations wrong earlier, late night. My breakdown is roughly 45% carb, 25%, prot, 30% fats.

Homo milk kind of sounds like a euphamism, haha.

But I drink whole when bulking. Skim for cut.

I don't drink much milk, but when I do (at breakfast, or when eating sweet stuff) it's skim milk. The rest of the time it's plain old tap water for me.

You first state you don't need the extra fat. Then you state getting enough calories in general is your main concern. Which is it? Is it better to get calories from carbs than fat?

For me, I prefer getting more calories from carbs than fat. As i've stated, I work construction 8-12 hrs. per day followed up by an intense weight routine for 1-1 1/2 hrs. In between that and sleep I have to run around with my 4 year old daughter. So, in my case, since I am constantly eating through out the day, I prefer higher carbs for my source of calories/energy, since carbs convert to energy at a faster rate. Also because I am so active I need to consume a large amount of calories in order to achieve any growth. My daily diet already consists of enough fat is all that I was referring to.

1% usually. If they are out of 1% I'll get 2%.

Your gonna learn really quick that bodybuilders and people who care for their bodies are more intelligent than the hippie ass git's you clearly usually communicate with.
Pasteurization has probably saved literally millions of lives. But your right lets turn the clock back 150 years, undo the advancements of medical science simply because a bunch of people want to blame all the worlds ailments on pesticides and hormones. Do you know what the human digestive system does to hormones, provided they even survive long enough to get to human consumption. Think before you type.

Stop reading websites and start searching pubmed and look at peer reviewed credible evidence. And stop bringing your backwards thinking here. There are plenty of sites for people like you bro.

Unpasteurized milk is perfectly fine if
1) You grow up on it
2) It's fresh

But generally I agree, pasteurize that ****.

my milk wasnt an option :( . I drink lactaid (whole) or land o lakes lactose free. and I thought homo milk meant homogenized?

JMac beat me to the breast milk comment.

Arnold said, "milk is for babies, I drink beer".

Anyway, I used to drink nonfat, but since I had a kid, all that was in the fridge was whole milk. I like whole milk a lot better.
